Tate Farm Area Descriptions

To help you determine the size area you need to accommodate your group, use the estimates
below. These estimates are provided using tables placed end to end.
Actual numbers will depend upon table configuration.

Barn

Our Barn is fully heated and air conditioned. We provide (2) 4’ folding table, (15) 6’ folding tables, (5) 8’ folding tables and (85) padded folding chairs. Seating on the deck will be picnic tables. Restrooms are located in the Barn. The barnyard theme playground is adjacent to the Barn.

Pavilion		300-315
Our pavilion has lighting and electrical outlets. Seating will be picnic tables, unless otherwise arranged. Restrooms are located in the Barn, adjacent to the Pavilion. The barnyard theme playground is adjacent to the Pavilion.

Small Pavilion		20-30
Located adjacent to the barnyard theme playground our small pavilion has lighting , electrical outlets and a concrete floor. Restrooms are located in the Barn, adjacent to the large Pavilion.

Pecan Grove		350-500
The Pecan Grove is located at the back of our farm overlooking seasonal crops such as cotton, wheat and pumpkins. Restrooms are located in this area. There is ambient lighting, but no electrical outlets. Picnic style seating provided for up to 350.

Lower Shed		125-150
The Lower Shed is located in the center of our farm. It is an open air pole barn with a dirt floor and tin roof. It has lighting and electrical outlets. Picnic style seating is provided. It is located adjacent to our barnyard theme playground and close to our Country Store. Restrooms are located at the front of the Pecan Grove.

Depot		40-50
Constructed to mimic an old time Depot, our open air facility does not have lighting or electrical outlets. Restrooms are located in the Barn. It is located close to the barnyard theme playground and Country Store.

Craft Area		125-150
Located at the back of our farm adjacent to the Pecan Grove, the Craft Area is lighted with electrical access. It is a three sided open air, covered facility with a dirt floor. Restrooms are located at the front of the Pecan Grove. Picnic style seating provided with minimal electrical outlets.

Grassy Area, North of the Barn		125-150
The Grassy Area is located to the north of the Barn adjacent to the kitchen. This is a moderately lit, grassy area with newly planted trees. Picnic style seating is provided with minimal electrical outlets. Restrooms are located in the Barn.
